Moved for love. Stayed for the life. Built something of my own.
Before Wickhead, my days ran on deadlines and outfits. I'm an advocate by profession, and online I was the girl people came to for fashion and lifestyle: what to wear, where to go, what's actually worth buying.
Then I married a man who brought me to Pondicherry.
Here, life slowed right down. The sea at the end of the road. Mornings that don't start with an alarm. Afternoons that belong to nobody. And somewhere in all that quiet, I finally heard myself think. I didn't want another title. I wanted something of my own: something handmade, something natural, something that makes you feel good the moment you light it.
So I made Wickhead.
Not another beige candle.
Most candles are polite. Ours have opinions. Every Wickhead has a personality, a name you'll want to say out loud and a scent to match the mood: On My Way to IDGAFistan for the days you're done, Less Stressita More Bonita for when you need a minute, and Wildly Unbothered for when you've read the group chat and chosen peace.
Burn it. Keep it.
Every Wickhead sits in a handcrafted ceramic vessel that's far too pretty to throw away. When the wax is gone, it becomes a planter, a pen pot, a makeup-brush holder or a home for your rings. The wax leaves. Wickhead stays.
Poured by hand in Pondicherry.
Each candle is hand-poured in small batches here in Pondicherry: 200 g of wax, about 35 to 40 hours of burn, natural ingredients, and artwork by designers who think a little like we do. Never clip art. Never boring.
